I guess Fearless is okay....
tbqh I listen to their bootlegs more than their studio albums at this point. You ever check out some of this live shit? Some of it is like, exactly the same as the studio stacks and some nights it's fucking WILD. I just download them off rutracker.....

Sorry, I wasn't sure if you were kidding because I assume English is not your first language and you might genuinely be asking.

I have that one as "Embryo" (4/29/70) but that one is great. Interstellar Encore is a better title.

I got Pink Floyd at the Playhouse Theatre at some festival, it sounds great.
I love the stuff they did up to and including dsotm, with Meddle, live portion of Ummagumma and most of Obscured by Clouds being the favourites. I think of Piper at the Gates of Dawn as almost a different band, but it's one of my favourites as well. A Saucerful of Secrets and Atom Heart Mother are great albums also. So yeah, up to dsotm. Wish you were here and Animals are cool, and I like the Wall, but it's not what I think about when I think of teh Floyd.

You don't even like Fearless? Dat guitar riff used to make me float when stoned back in high school.

med·dle
verb \ˈme-dəl\
: to become involved in the activities and concerns of other people when your involvement is not wanted
: to change or handle something in a way that is unwanted or harmful
THANK YOU! Favorite album, favorite song. I was about to
There's a lot of good Floyd and it far outweighs the bad. I think a lot of you are baggin on the wall for the same reasons the punks didn't like floyd. to popular, to big, to far. There are some great, and not so great parts of it, like every other album almost ever.
Wish you were here, c'mon guys. so good. DSOTM always surprises me when I go back to it. Ummagumma was some of the best acid I ever took and saucer........
So what are the bad ones again? Oh yeah, when they got old and bitter with each other.
I don't think I'll listen to this one. seems like it would only diminish them.

They're basically three distinct bands, and the post-syd pre-DSOTM Floyd is the only one that isn't totally bent by a singular songwriter, which is part of what makes it so interesting/inconsistent, particularly compared to pre '68 and post '73. Like, The Gold It's In The... is just so 'not' The Floyd, you know?

Fun fact: when I was in college, me and 4 others had to do a group speech/presentation. We did it on Witchcraft. For the intro, we turned out the lights and walked in holding candles while Sysyphus Part I played. Damn it was epic!
