Can't we all just get along and worship the lord and saviour, Jesus Christ?

I've never tried their pedals, but I've watched a few demos. Not for me. And this cultish activity is replusive to me. Most religion is, anyways.

The Danelectro guy is someone who should be run down with a motor vehicle. I would never buy one of his gay hating pedals, guitars or even accept one free of charge. So yeah, Fuck Danelectro!
I don't think this religion has much love for the homosexuals either...or am in the wrong? :erm:

you guys realise OP was just asking whether anyone knows if the JHS stuff is straight clones, right? the whole 'christian' thing is just an established fact that we can associate with the name.

i mean by all means have this discussion i'm just kinda surprised people are so rustled by the whole thing that we're on page 3 and nobody has really given any insight into the actual question.

but on topic, i've rarely (if ever) seen JHS stuff on people's boards around here so you might not have much luck coming up with answers. i'm guessing since the whole Devi thing they might not be cloning pedals without at least alluding to what they've 'based' something on nowadays though, most of the product descriptions on their site vaguely tell you what the circuits are but really most companies are cloning stuff so it's not a huge issue when it's not a clone of something like the Hyperion.

one glance at the website and you'll read it's an expanded take on the Arion SCH-1.

 Yes, but no worries, I've been having some fun reading the comments.
I'm wondering what kind of replies I could get if I start the same thread on TGP :flame:

Oops things sure did get off topic! Conclusion appears to be that nobody really knows? I certainly don't.

Did the panther a clone? I know they claim you can get DMM sounds, but it's analogue with tap tempo, assignable expression control, modulation, tap tempo synch? Just curious. I don't really care who makes my gear so long as it's great which the panther is.

Yeah, considering which forum we're on, nobody here is really even remotely interesting in buying any of those JHS pedals (expect maybe for some vague half-hearted interest in that Colourbox thingee). So, it's almost a moot point if they're clones or not.

It'd get shut down. :idk:

Who gives a shit if we're on topic. This is ILF. We derail every thread! :)

No idea about the cloning. Isn't everything a clone? Am I a clone?

Do fuzz pedals dream of electric sheep shears?

I'm not sure about a clone but it's similar to this guy. Pretty sure it uses a different BB chip though? Don't quote me on this shit, it's been a while.

Quite similar indeed, just the modulation on the panther and...perhaps they both can slave other tap tempo pedals cause the panther can. Cool feature too. Looks like the DMM can also.

Edit: jhs claimed the panther was the first analogue delay with tap tempo.

Yeah you are spot on there. Those "god hates f#gs" placard waving types are also on my shit list also. And the churches that run those camps that use the bible to beat the f#g out of people who's lifestyle they find wrong. But I don't think they donate large sums of money to the Republican party to stop gay marriage. People should be able to be who they were born to be. :idk:

Check out matthewseffects on Instagram he like surrendered a pedal launch to god or something the other day and I'm still trying to work out what that means..
