Actually, I wanted a Lofi Junky for that, so I can put it at the beginning of my chain and tweak effects with a messed up loop playing.

that's exactly what i used to do with my lofi loop junky. it was first in the chain and then another looper was later on. i came to really love the little jump that would accompany the restarting of the loop on it and being able to add on top of it but have the layers feel separate by having another looper later was real nice

How would you handle keeping them in sync? I would assume a iron fist over the tempo, but even then that's difficult.

If the pedals are in series you just loop the first loop in the later loop then stop loopin the first loop then you got the first loop loopin in the later loop loop

Same here!
I'm backing the Looperlative LP2 Kickstarter and I've bought a Molten Voltage Master Control to use with it.

My original Ditto, I got a year ago, has never played back the loop for a few seconds when I delete it. I wonder why most do?

I use a Lofi early as well into a Timeline with DMC-4 midi controller. The Lofi is like nothing else out there and the TL is like an expanded DL-4 (previously my favorite looper ever!) so the combo is fantastic.

I loop ALOT. DL4 with a DOD DFX 9 for the infinite repeat function. All you need.

Re: What do you guys use for live looping?
Well the CT5 has a looper in it as well, so in all technicality I have 4 now. CT5>DD-20>DL-4>Headrush E2. I use the Headrush the most for actual looping, the DL4 is more of a a trigger sampler if anything. That play once switch is really fucking useful once you get an idea of how to record with it. My DD-20 I manly use for delay, however I keep it in Warp mode 100% of the time so I can hold down the on/off switch and it infinitely repeats until I let go of the switch again. Although it'll keep adding to the repeats so I figured out if I stuck a piano footswitch in the expression and set it to trigger on/off, and stuck the piano pedal right infront of the DD-20. This allows me to turn the DD-20 off with the piano pedal without loosing what is getting infinitely repeated as long as I'm still holding down the DD-20's switch. Really nifty for creating exact repeating rhythms or having a longer delay time and having a one switch looper.

The DD-20 is the best pedal ever. There are so many cool things hidden in this one...
