gf uses two, a later 70s and an early 80s, no issues at all. Maybe the quality on the newer models have been going down... dunno. :idk:
Twins/Musicmans are a good option if you are after a lots-of-headroom type of amp.

Yeah I'd love a 70s/80s model, idk if the build quality has declined in general but this one was pretty unreliable.
The best I've played so far was a Rivera Knucklehead which is like a 100w bassman with pull-boosts on each EQ knob, would like to try a music man but they go for $1-2k around here. The reissues look promising though.
