:ilf: Madness! Thanks for bending to peer pressure and making a video even though it took some rigging. I'd say you did a great job of showing what it does!

The Thujone Extract will likely be special orderable in Jan 2015 (I'll only be able to make 6-8 a year).
Jrmy's was built to his needs, but I'd offer it with a dual footswitches--latching fuzz mode, momentary Trip mode. I think that config is ideal for most, so you have that fuzz-only mode to jump from...after all, the Thujone is a specialized, hot-rodded tripped-out AB-Synth.

That said, to make matters either more confusing or easier, I think I'll make a Bleep knob upgrade available for the AB-Synth.

2015 will also likely see the 5 knob AB-Synth made standard.

Streamlining! A lot of people ask, "4 or 5 knobs?" I think I'm going to make the decision for them. ;)

They're some great ideas Tom. I will definitely be hitting a Thujone at some stage next year. And I think all AB-synth's should be 5 knobbers. The four knob is awesome, but I've always felt like there'd be some fantastic tones in there if I could just get the gain down a bit. AB-Synth is definitely the best oscillating fuzz out there. So controllable, and sounds good with all sorts of different pickups.

Thanks guys! It was super-fun to make that little video - who knows, maybe I'll make more vids now! And yeah, there are crazy noises to be found in the Thujone / Ab-Synth. Honestly, I'm kind of tempted to get Tom to make me another one, this time with the setup he describes above! This one was just for momentary freakouts for my band board, so it needed to be tiny. And I've never been one for on-the-floor knob tweaking live, so just having the momentary switch made sense for this build... but now I'm thinking that maybe if I HAD a latching switch, I would get down and crazy with those knobs...

Just had a crazy thought... you know what would be even more awesome than the regular Thujone? The Thujone in a wah shell with the treadle controlling the filter sweep. DAMN!
