There was an error with a cap on the clean circuit. Here is the corrected version.

Well, I have the fuzz section on the breadboard. It actually sounds "better" that the unit jerms lent me. I suppose the transistors might have something to do with that. I'm going to have to update my schematic again, some of my pot lugs are backwards. I also left out a resistor, and cap on the clean circuit.

Here's a video on the fuzz section. This fuzz is a nightmare to demo, because of the sheer amount of textures available. Every little nudge on just about any pot, including the guitar, changes the tone of this beast. I apologize in advance for the excessive rambling, but this thing is one part Skyripper, one part Uglyface, and one part Christine. In the wrong hands... humanity is lost. :icon_mrgreen:

Trying to get the clean section working now. To be continued......

Thanks man! I can never seem to get the code right for the Youtube window to appear. Seems this form is different from the others, and is real fussy about how it's written.

Yeah, posting YouTube links is tricky here. You need to remove the "s" from "https" and only post the string of characters for the video itself. You can't include playlists or "start at" or anything fancy like that. Just insert this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-iFvWTI7tg inside the YouTube tags.

Just finished adding the clean section to the board, and it works as per the original. The zener needs to be 5.6v minimum, and can go up to 10v, depending on how much clean you want to bleed through. Even a 10v zener works well.

Going to correct my schematic, and fire it off to UKToecutter. Maybe we'll see a PCB soon. I've already started a vero for it.

Here's my vero take;

It'll fit nicely into a 1590J.

Here's the updated schematic, and switching diagrams as well;
