If you wanna do it, do it man. The way I see it, stickers on a guitar are like tattoos. So it's ether something you like or something that means something to ya. I have a mix of these things on my guitars.

If you get quality stickers they come off easy, take residue off with lighter fluid if you change your mind,

I'm currently working on a strat renovation (I REALLY need to do a thread on it in the DIY section), and I've just put matte black vinyl on the pickguard. I've already decided that if it starts peeling away, I'm going to keep the fucker down by covering it with stickers

My steinberger just got a new sticker

not hugely into stickers, however both my bass and guitar have a Mighty Boosh sticker on the headstock (settled on Vince Noir for bass, because I love Noel Fielding... my Jazzmaster has Howard Moon, because pun intended I think it was you, Monkeydancer, who sent those stickers to me? Possible?)
