I kinda want the overdrive. Nothing else really interests me at this point.

Dimension C, VB-2, and Slow Gear have been staples in their multi-fx for years (including Roland stuff).
I've got all three in a recent unit, and they sound amazing. Digital, but well, if it sounds good, it *is* good.
That's why some of these haven't been reissued.
As far as why 2 distortion pedals too, because those sell like hotcakes over any delay to the average guitarist.
Never found much use for the original DM2/3, too little delay time.
Will have to hear the new one in extended mode.

Meh. The Ibanez DE-7 and a DD5 covers all of my delay needs ever. Although the DM-2 was great when I had it- much better than the Aqua Puss or carbon Copy I had.

I'm curious to see if the extended mode is actually all analog.

Maybe the newer units sound better, but the multifx version of the Dimension that I tried back in the day was not good, at least nowhere near as good as the original unit.

Very curious about the delay. If it stacks up with the original, I'll definitely have to snag one

There always seems to be some magic missing with any kind of reissue
Or I'm just being pessimistic

I've played a few reissues that were radically better than the originals.
The first EHX Frequency Analyzers in '00 or so off the line again were glorious. Still clunky EHX, but it works and all the glorious FA goodness with none of the carrier wave.

I'd heard somewhere that boss are always more interested in the 'future' rather than reissues. That said I'd love to pick up a PN2 without having to go back to japan WHERE I SAW THEM FOR LIKE $80AUD AND DIDN'T BUY ONE BECAUSE I'M AN IDIOT.
Really doubt the idea of a HM2 reissue though. There's so many out there already and the market is way more limited compared to like the number of guys who want a sd1 to add some mojo to their tasty licks in between working on high court briefs but don't want to take the original silver screw black label version in to the office because it has too much mojo and someone might steal all of the mojo.
