So preamp nice/boring/whatever/JHS

I want to hear more about this cult, and JHS's involvement in such as they seem fairly unrelated.
Unless its just a coincidence that this guy is a crazy fundamentalist. Which would be disappointing to say the least.

Got this pedal and can confirm it is legit.

I had/have the same trepidations about JHS, but it's simply an excellent, unique piece of gear regardless. I got it for some Neil Young broken fuzz tones, which it does better than any other pedal I've tried (and I've pretty much tried them all). I don't care how faithfully it reproduces the DI/Neve sound, I just take the pedal for what it is, and I'm super satisfied. Of course, I also got it for about $80 off, so that helps.

I want ittttt, but if wha some of you are saying is true, I might feel better after I've rubbed my peen on the money before paying them.

But they seem so nice. Maybe less aggressive peen rubs?

I'm conflicted.

Don't rub your junk on money dude. Money is the dirtiest thing on the the planet. You could catch herpes or something from it
I once payed an overpriced electricity bill with a cheque and rubbed my junk on that. Also sent a few pubes in with it as well for effect.
About the jhs issue. I bought one of their mini bomb boost pedals and it's not a bad boost at all. That was before I read about their circuit stealing ways.
