That totally could have been the issue, or I wasn't using the mix high enough or something. Boatrich did you use a trs or ts cable when you tried it? As the mf ring is cv you have to use a ts, trs probably wouldn't make it do much at all.
I also briefly did a midi sync for the tempo with molten midi whammy playing an arpeggio, splitting the signal out to my seek wah and the mf ring/8 step with various other tone shaping pedals in each chain. It completely overwhelmed me to the point where I had to leave the room before I exploded with excitement!
Once i figure out a way to film it I'll make a demo for sure. Picking up the dd7 from the post office tomorrow and still waiting on the harmonic decoder to arrive from Australia (no dealers in Europe for this pedal!?!!) will report back findings.
