Circuits You Can Use

Man, everyone loves the Elements, but I just couldn't bond with it. I tried, but it just didn't work for me.

Some days I feel this way, when using it with guitar, but I always love it with bass

Re guitar: I don't think it sounds very good at bedroom levels - I much prefer a Metal Zone or a Death Metal. But at gig levels it slays everything in its path. It lets you get massive without getting boomy, cut through without getting mids-honky, and meaty without attack-decimating saturation. Of course, if you want those things you can dial them up too - but they're awfully hard to get rid of in a Metal Zone for example.

That would make sense since I rarely get to 'loud' by even bedroom standards.

Tuner? Doesn't that go without saying?

- I get along well with bright analog delays
- Germaniums. In addition, the Sparkle Motion is perfect. I dont know if that is Rangemaster or ss/bs but I wouldn't change it
- Organizer. Whatever it does, its just right
- Spring reverb pedals that sounds like really short delays. I gotta be honest, every spring reverb pedal I've played sounds nothing like the real thing. It's just like a short delayish washy type thing. I guess I could just say brick reverbs. Isn't that some component that a lot of them have? Anyway, I've come to love this effect. I would say Ghost Echo, Spring Chicken, and Surf Rider are my favorites
- It's not a specific circuit but I feel I can use most modulation pedals pretty easily

Not a fan of the brick circuit. Only faux spring I've used I like at all is the Boss faux Fender tank (which sits on my board fulltime even with rack options for meaner, more out there stuff).
