Exactly. Sorta unique, though in a classic/vintage sounding way. Plus, if Fulltone/Wampler/Skreddy came out with the exact same pedlol in a fancy handpainted enclosure, it'd sell like hotcakes for twice the price of the Boss.

So yeah, although for the stuff I'm into nowadays I prefer my RW Fuzz God II, Mastotron, Swollen Pickle MKII and FZ-2, I'm sure I'd totally regret it if I sold the FZ-3:s

Yeah I've got this weird, semi different overdrive that I got as a cheap custom build from a small company. The dude added some extra features and custom paint for no extra cost too. Really cool. I just don't use it much for whatever reason. It's always sitting like beside my amp or something. I've tried selling multiple times over the like two years and I've gotten exactly 0 interest in it. I'm okay with keeping but I could use the moneys for a ped I know I would use more.

Also, I thought I was stuck with my Malekko Vibrato. I'd had that thing for like 4 years? I don't know. A long time compared to how long I've been into pedals (maybe 5 years?) And then I sold it. I just thought I would try something else. I miss it but I have other things that can kind of do vibrato. It's the same case with the MXR big flanger. Except that one I haven't sold :) And I modded it like a boss to use not fooking 18v power.

But it's the only looper that has enough save spots, up and down footswitches a play and a stop switch that's not gigantic and doesn't have the same issues, like all boss ones are exactly the same.
If there's a looper out there you'd prefer, maybe you'd be better off with two and have 4 pedals total.

For sentimental reasons I'm stuck with a Boss Metal Zone. I occasionally pull it out when I need that flavor of bad, its my Power Glove.
Great dealings with: ryan summit, UncleGrandfather, Pizza, hbombgraphics, dangergirlstarship, Clockworker, kosta

It sucks. It clips and the headroom is terrible and it's got the stupid tempo thing that always comes on and is stupid.
My entire board is based around trying to fix it. So I have a boost first in the chain so I can set the inout volume lower because it can take a loud signal better than it can just turning up the input volume for some dumb reason. Then I have an effects loop for my fuzz because the digital clip from the volume jump sounds terrible. Then I need pre loop and post loop reverb cause it comes out all clanky recorded clean and the digital out makes it sound clanky too. Then I need a post boost looper cause the looper itself is not loud enough unless I crank it then I need to crank the input volume and then it clips...
Without the jamman I'd have two pedals, a fuzz and a boost. With it I have 8...
But it's the only looper that has enough save spots, up and down footswitches a play and a stop switch that's not gigantic and doesn't have the same issues, like all boss ones are exactly the same. Every song on my band uses recorded rhythm guitar samples at one part or another. I am stuck with it, it's either that or another guitarist and that has not worked (egos of other guitarists wanting to play solos, change songs we've already written and recorded etc)
I hate this pedal, but it is my sound...
i think on the newer ones they fixed a couple of these issues? not totally sure though...

I agree with this. Orrrr maybe try using a sampler like a SP404 and then a Ditto X2. Then you have a better pre-recorded playback device that will be way more fun + a way better looper that will be way more fun. I think a 404 will definitely be on my pedalboard sooner rather than later. Use it like a multieffects unit that also has samples on it that I can trigger for flair or transitions.

Oh I totally forgot that I have tuner from the Danelectro food series. It tracks terribly, has no backlight for the meter, and as such is completely useless. I can't think of any application whatsoever for it and I doubt I could even sell it for $5. I really should just throw it in the garbage.
