I wonder how a hollow or semi-hollow would work in aggressive music with a lot of staccato stuff.

I also want a short scale because of my wrist, I can't play one of mine for more than 15 minutes now. I've heard they are difficult to detune.

I tune a half step down on two of my Mustangs and it's never a problem. Get some heavy strings on it and you can probably tune down to like D flat/C with manageable flop.

Maybe check out a 32" scale if you need a little more tension.

They look like they were sexy but then they melted a little bit and are sort of lumpy and weird now.
