My OR takes pedals fine with guitar and bass ('73 Pix & Text), so I'd be curious as to what you're experiencing.
How do you run your fuzz pedals with your amp? I've noticed that you mentioned using a supercollider, have you noticed any degrading in tone, uneven volume level or otherwise; like blowing tubes quick, etc...?

If you wanna go fuzzy with a boost definitely check a good Rangemaster or modded clone along the lines of the D*A*M Red Rooster.

If you want to go range master you better check out dirge electronics. Skully build a mean TB. I can also recommend the boost out of the Roland Bee Baa. Or you talk to Ian at Ghost FX, I think he serves three variants of Treble Boost. The Hornby Skewes is great for the name alone.

Seems like there's a little bit more range of flavor coming from Ghost FX. Then again a "mean" boost seems appealing. Lol I'll probably look to boost the dirty the signal first, then add flavor later.

Well...figured I'd wrap up this conversation on a positive note. After picking up my amp early in the week, I finally had the real test. Did a little three piece jam. Bass, Guitar and Drums. All I can say is I'm completely impressed and have no reason to sulk anymore. The mod was a success. What really made it all worth it was switching out the El34's with 6550's and having the MV modded and grounded properly, which in turn pushes pre-valves the way they should be. It's sounds like an absolute beast. Words can't even describe. I'd hate to say it, but, fuzz pedals will likely not be needed on this amp. It's got that much girth and natural overdriven distorted/fuzz to it now, and sounds better than ever through the cabs. I wish I had pics to show of the mod, but, they can be viewed on Tube Freaks Amplification Facebook.
