It arrived last week and I have had time to put it through its courses. It absolutely nails the classic Univibe sound but has so many more unique tones available. Im obsessed with this pedal and will probably end up leaving it turned on 90% of the time Im playing.

That is awesome.

I'm so writing a song called that. In fact I'm writing all songs called that.
Dibs on writing lyrics.

Ok, got my micro vibe the other day.
Haven't had too much of a play with it yet, and not at high volumes, but it sounds pretty sweet for the money.
It does an ok throb, but not overwhelming for those of you who aren't into that. Personally, I am, so it was a little underwhelming, but sounds great on clean tones (keep in mind, I'm playing with humbuckers, you single coil cats will have a different take).
Could also be the little hiwatt practice amp I'm using, which generally doesn't like my satanic levels of dirt, but I felt it was difficult to dial in a good sound with gain, without losing too much of the vibe sound. More throb would be handy here.
I'd recommend it for a vibe on the cheap though. And I'm gonna report back again when I get a real amp and volumes happening in my life again.
I have a feeling that's 90% of my problem.
But, it was not awful. Does subtle nice. High speed settings not shit.
Plays real nice with verbs and delays.

For those interested in the new Dunlop/MXR version, I came across this this morning:

Nice. It definitely has some always on potential.

Got the MXR JHM3EHT Uni-Vibe today and had a quick chance to play it along side the Depths. The MXR is definitely more subtle than the Depths-- I had to max out the depth knob on the MXR to match the intensity knob on the Depths at 2 o'clock), and the Depths has a richer tone. But the MXR sounds damn good to me. And my hope that the vibrato function of the MXR would be worth keeping it came to hold up. I found a nice setting that gives a great lofi warped vinyl feel (not Chase Bliss, of course). So I think the MXR is a fine deal, especially if you can get it for less than $100 (see the link above). And the Hendrix version has the potential to jump in value (the 70th Ann. ones sold for the same price new and are now on eBay for $250+).
