Well.....I suppose that depends on your needs and wants.....if it's worth it.
The quality is usually there.....in a hiwatt type amp.
Both build and components.

I have a Trinity Triwatt....which is much more affordable and manageable in volume. Gave me a taste of the hiwatt tone without the financial commitment.
I may part with it....now that I have the 120.

Overall.....I personally would definitely say that it's worth the admission to get tone like this.

Nice amp, man. Keep in mind those aren't the same Transformers Hiwatt used in theirs, nor in the early production (MKIII or earlier) Sound City's. I've had them all and ended up sticking with an early Sound City 100 (MKIII) as my favorite. At first, all of them always seemed bight and the more I played the darker and darker they kept sounding over time. They just have a very unique mid frequency that takes a bit getting used to. Also sound entirely different depending what speakers you're using. I hated running mine through Celestion speakers but really dig the EVM-12L's I'm currently running mine through. Glad you got yours closer to the Hiwatt circuit than before though. Hope you enjoy it!
