I like the Danelectro Dan o wah:
Cool formants and crazy octave-fuzz, which is wired before the wah. Soo heavy!

They're a Black Cat product. Joe's not selling them. Better to contact Black Cat.

Oh, in that case, go right ahead.
I just didn't want you trying to contact Joe Gagan to buy one.

^ Let us know if you score a Black Cat, univalve. Real interested in those.
The Castledine Standard Wah is still blowing my mind. Love it so much I can't stop using it (even when I really should). The bad thing is I think it's turned me into a wah guy - I now want a Boomerang and a Colorsound

came here to say this used to have it, GREAT WAH
the only one o liked as much was an RMC1
in side-by-side comparison (which i've done), the CAE was more modern and agressive, the RMC was simply not as growly. The growl works great with dirt though and that's why I went with the CAE. Right now, i'd probably buy the RMC, people change and today, I'd go for a bit more mellow sound

Alright, so I now have a Colorsound and a Boomerang. My wah kick is officially out of freakin' control… The Boomerang is a Joe Gagan modded 72 ('TEK3') and the Colorsound is an original 70s number. And I matched them up with the Castledine Standard Wah in a three-way shootout (seriously, who doesn't love a three way?) Three wahs in two parts, playing the same riffs/chords/notes - nothing fancy because the idea is to hear the differences in the wahs. Guitar is a Firebird (Zhangbucker bridge pup) going into a Ceriatone 5E7 combo amp with nothing but a wah in the chain. Order is Colorsound, then Boomerang, then the Castledine. There's a quick bit of guitar with no wah at the start and also at the start of the Boomerang bit (because it's also a volume pedal and colours the sound a little regardless), otherwise it's wah, wah, wah. If you're wah curious (as I am), you should dig it.
The embedded thingy should play everything through from the top or you can listen to the individual parts by following the link below it.
thread revival time
my latest fave is an experiment based on a mod scotty smith designed and i co-engineered. 'vocalizer EQ spectrum mod" here as applied to a hotrodded boomerang type with a ' special' pot.
