Dude green day really got me into music altogether when I was 8. Always gonna love them for that.

Before that I was head banging to Bon Jovi and Aerosmith in the car with my parents

The only blink 182 song I recall fondly is Josie.
Are we going to have a problem?

Same here. One of my best friends, Scott, from elem/mid school let me listen to it on a field trip, and it went from there. He plays bass in this band now http://thedreadedmarco.com/
Admittedly, I also started listening to a lot of The Offspring around the same time

I always chuckled at this intro

when it would say "this compact disc playing on your home stereo" because I only ever owned the album [in its entirety] on vinyl.
Had never heard the intro before buying the wax.

Another good skate record.

My freshman year of high school was almost entirely spent driving to comic book stores in an orange pinto listening to Smash.

Not even close to halfway, c'mon.

HELL YES. This album is a ripper. Makes me sad how shitty this band got, but I don't listen to punk anymore anyway so I guess it's no big loss.

I was a teenager in the mid-late nineties so I have a big ole embarrassing soft spot for pop punk.

As far as My Chemical Romance, the one with the big hair plays (or played) Friedman amps. Probably not on the first album though.

I dunno, maybe he's having a chemical romance?
I don't hope he's stuck in it though.
