Anyone else notice the slight, uh, modulation as notes ring out? There's some warbly stuff going on, and it sounds good, but it'd be nice to have the option to remove it. Really noticeable around 9:30. Maybe something that can't be avoided with harmonizers? I've never used them so I know nothing. Regardless, I want the PB.

I'm pretty sure the warbling you hear is because the pitch up and down are stepped semitones.
It's kind of like the beating you hear when you tune your guitar and the strings aren't quite in tune.
You could probably get rid of it by selecting a perfect octave up or down with the pitch knobs.
At least I'm pretty sure.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Nope!
Ryan mentioned in one of the Dr. Sci threads that the warble is inherent with how you can do pitch shifting with the Spin chip. This is also what EQD uses in the Rainbow Machine and Organizer.

I was already wanting the Pitch Bay, but after Just Nick's demo I have to get one. Also the Terminal. I need one of those too.

I've had my eye on getting the organizer for a while for getting poly octave sounds, but I think I will go with the pitch bay. It would be cool to hear a demo between the two with fuzz before/after them

That would be cool. I've never really been into the Organizer though. Just not into the faux organ thing. The Pitch Bay is exactly what I want

I definitely notice it and that's exactly the reason I don't like the Pitch Bay, I think the Organizer might be a bit better though.
On the other hand, all digital pitch shifters I tried have that same problem in my opinion, the only one I know of that doesn't is the Digitech Whammy, that one sounds great, the Boss MO-2 isn't too bad either.

I've kind of gone off weird fuzz pedals, but the Terminal speaks to me. It calls me.

Random side thought...why doesn't Juan have a signature Fender p-bass yet? I'd buy the shit out of one of those

id like to see the insides...curious to see if it uses two spin chips, since those chips are limited to three controls and im not sure if one can handle two octaves at the same time parallel
