Put the Mastery on earlier today, definitely an improvement over the stock bridge. Tooks some better photos too.

I've always been partial to Jazzmasters but holy shit, holy shit, holy shit that is a gorgeous guitar.
That headstock looks great.

Really makes me want to finally get a Jazzmaster...

I decided to try out the original pickups that came with it today, they're okay nothing special. I definitely like the Seymour Duncan vintage that was in the neck more than the original neck pickup. I did however like the original bridge pickup a little more than the Duncan hot that was in it, but it still wasn't great to me. So I've put the Duncans back in for now.

I'm thinking I'll probably get a new set of pickups for it sometime before too long. Maybe Duncan Antiquities, maybe I'll spend a little more and get either Lollars or Novaks. Haven't decided yet.

It's too hot. I don't really like the sound of overwound pickups, they always sound kind of muddy/honky to me. I definitely prefer vintage wound pickups.

Cool thanks. I'm leaning towards either Lollars or Antiquity IIs. I'm not buying anything for a little bit though, I just dropped my Ampeg VT-40 off for some much needed work today, so I'm going to wait to see how much that is going to cost me before I make any decisions.
