Floor rules, and Torche has been one of my favorite bands for quite a while now. Saw them right after Meanderthal opened, and it blew me away. I might be one of the few that actually dug Songs for Singles. Just recently listened to Harmonicraft, and it's like they cranked up the zany. At times, it's like a Thin Lizzy album. Fucking yes.

But, honestly, this. Fuuuuuucking this.

That album alone makes it worth $20. Although I dig some of the s/t and the booklet is pretty cool, the boxset is basically for completists only, especially given the super awkward vinyl-sized packaging.
Special low-frequency version.

See, I've got no problem with the poppier side of things in general, so I love where Torche's been going. Only just discovered Floor in the past year or so, and dig it as well.

Did you not go see them with Big Biz and Helms Alee a couple years ago in Cambridge? I feel like there were other ILFers there.

Gawd, I wish. You have no idea how many of my favorite bands I've managed to unintentionally miss playing over the years.

That's rad. Before Big BIz (but after KARP) Jared did vocals for The Tight Bros From Way Back When, who I absolutely adore. Like an MC5 style band.

I wanted to go to the Baltimore show, but then I realized it was the same day as YOB in Baltimore, and I can never say no to YOB

This show I went to in Cleveland is probably top to bottom the best, most fun show I have been to. All three bands were tremendously good and Torche is just so fantastic live.
