I didn't even know this was out...

The problem with these lists is that sometimes I'm not exactly feeling something at the moment and I'll exclude it and then look back and be like wtf was I thinking yo this shit is classic....

I mean posting lists on the internet is important stuff amirite fellas

I make one of these threads every year so I can go back and listen to all the sweet music I missed.

So yes, your lists are SUPER FUCKING IMPORTANT. My ears need to be massaged with crispy delicious newness.

So far for me, it's:
NIN
Palms
Russian Circles

oh and Phoenix. Don't act like you don't all love some synth-pop every now and then.

I hadn't heard the new Karnivool yet, I'll be giving that a listen in the next day or two.

Oh wait, I forgot to mention that Sigur Ros's new album this year was pretty fucking awesome, too.

EDIT:::: FUCK, I forgot Daft Punk too. Wow, this was actually a really good year.

This one. So good. I've really slowed down on my music consumption and so haven't heard much from 2013, but BoC really hit it out of the park this year. Tomorrow's Harvest is the best thing they've ever done (IMHO YMMV).

On the opposite side of things the new Black Flag record is probably the worst I've heard this year
