!!!
Where'd you order from?
JRR Shop, some online retailer that was linked in the original Volca thread. They had a discounted bundle offer months ago.
Oh word. Do you think this means that most retailers are shipping, now? MF estimates shipping out on the 15th and the lady's birthday is on the 20th.

I'm no millionaire (fuck i wish!) but I make a nice salary and spend some of it quite recklessly when it comes to gear.
That said, I sell and trade a whole buncha shit, usually comes and goes in waves. Hanging around here doesn't help these buying habits. Not one bit.

Yeah, I think a microKorg XL+ would be worth considering if you're prepared to get a digital synth. They're a lot more versatile than the Volca synths.

Also I played with Sherm's Volcas today, bass & keys, and the keys are waaaaaaaaay cooler than I would have thought. So many sweet sounds. I want one.
The bass is awesome too but seems to have more of a learning curve with the functionality/sequencer (which makes sense since the sequencer is more in depth).
Not that it was difficult, but there is more to remember.

That whole Volca series looks awesome.
I also think the Moog + littlebits things look super fun:

Probably not as useful as anything else mentioned though

I have and love a MicroKorg, some really cool sounds and relatively simple control set with lots of tweakability. Works esp well for me as I have very minimal synth experience.
The Volca series looks incredible tho, will def require far more time and mental dedication if I wanna use 'em anywhere close to full potential but once I get the hang of things, seems like endless creative possibilities plus so much fun.
