Hehe thanks man, I think it was just the lovetone meatball (envelope filter) feeding into the archaic boss DB-5 driver (octavia kind of thing)
The envelope effect is the important ingredient to make it sound like anything but a guitar (of course it's hard to build that into a fuzzbox)

It only sounded cool on a few frets of the guitar but I wonder if putting a compressor in front of the envelope would make it more useable...

P.S. I'm still waiting for pics of your fuzzrite :poke:
