Even though i'm not much into his stuff, in this case, i'd maybe check out the Analogman Peppermint Fuzz :idk: seems to have a bit of variety, you know...

I must say that i haven't had much run-ins with early fuzzes like these... I hated the Scrambler, because I dislike clean blend, I liked Fuzzrite, but couldn't really find a place for it in our music... If I were to go that direction, i'd go with something that has more than just one sound in it if that makes sense :idk:

If the Fuzzrite is just a bit off and you play the heavies, try the Orpheum. Very close but with a mid scoop that shifts it to sounding kinda doom to my ear.

If you need versatility, Buzzaround and Dizzy Sound (nearly the same thing) are great for original circuits.
