Two thoughts: a) Add my voice to the pro-Descendants crowd
b) Joyce Manor is top-calibre. There's a lot of good pop-punk and emo revival stuff out there right now (running towards a glut) but they're a cut above the rest. Short little albums you can process for days, listen to over and over. Every time they play in Montreal I'm unable to go

I'm hoping them and Ceremony both do that. I'm less hopeful about Joyce Manor though because they've gone to pretty good lengths to alienate the earlier hardcore crowd they used to play with/cater to.

You know what was an excellent show recently, was Lemuria and Kind of Like Spitting
Kind of Like Spitting were so chill, there were only 30, 40 people there (in Montreal LOL...) but he described the place as "blowing up" and you know what? It felt like it, too.
