You should check out the analogman King of Tone. Versatile but not quite as many options as the zvex Double Rock.
The Crowther Prunes and Custard gets dirty and gives interesting control over the harmonics. Great on bass and guitar.
MXR Blue Box into Rat
Systech OD
Maestro Parametric Filter/OD

This video begs to differ.

its two Box of Rock in one case. for each channel you can adjust sub frequencies, and you can convert either channel to a Super Hard-On. In this way you can configure the pedal to be two Distortions cascaded, two Super Hard-On's cascaded(like a Super Duper 2 in 1), or a Box of Rock with boost, or a Super Hard-On going into a Box of Rock.
versatile.
Wow, well that just sounds awesome and super useful
it is. hopefully they will issue one in their plain jane box series so more people might be willing to pick one up.
i'm glad I did
its a cool sparkley purple with a little painted j mascis jammin between the two stomp's. the color matches my j mascis jap sig jazzmaster and i'm a geek

Post a pic. Don't believe that the colors do match: zvex is true purple, jmascis jm is more of a raspberry red.

Listen, these are all great suggestions, but you need more weirdness. Something that is capable of fucking everything up to the point that makes some people uncomfortable. Maybe get some Dwarfcraft... perhaps a Shiva. That is all. Do it.

i agree with your sentiment. his current pedal selection doesn't lean too far out,
but something like the Snazzy FX mini-ark or
Schumann PLL would add some interest.
An LAL Oscillo Fuzz 88 is just full of it.
Infanem Analogue Harmony synth is fun.
Death by Audio Robot, or Supersonic Fuzz Gun.
Devi Ever Truly Beautiful Disaster
would be cool if he did.

the pedal is more purple than the guitar, but i wouldn't have called the guitar raspberry red until you pointed it out, in comparison to the pedal. theys both sparkley and close enough for rock and roll

A giant and/or rare pedal would be great but....

That's sort of what I figured.
