I basically just did it like an inch or so from the bottom of the neck and made sure it was straight. I wanted to install it up near the neck because I think aesthetically it looks best on this guitar.

Oh, I always thought you'd have to measure where it goes to capture harmonics and stuff. Since scale length is math & shit.

seriously, those Davis pointy knobs are titties. however, you can get them from small bear. even smaller ones. they are like, $.80 a piece of something.
