I've always wanted a Burns with the "Wild Dog Sound".
That greenburst is sexy.
That is a sexy guitar.
Adding that to my list to get one day.
I haven't got any clips though since I still don't have a 12.
Really want to pick up that Dano though.
If I do I'll see if I can put together some clips but I don't really have any legit recording stuff

I've already emailed a guy about trading for one of my basses but he wasn't interested
He was cool and told me to let him know if I sold my stuffs though
But I'm thinking I might just hit it now and worry about selling stuff later
Someone give me a reason not to
The price ain't bad, maybe lower than the average I've seen, though I haven't been hunting for one. Hopefully it has a hard case, since those are hollow bodied and not the sturdiest.
You could hold out for a double-neck six & twelve to come up, since they tend to be fairly moderately priced when I see them come up. But they aren't as practical if you just want the twelve and they don't come in sparkle.
If I had the money to spare, I probably would.

I had no idea that these were hollow bodied but that's kind of awesome.
There's actually a Dano double neck in the same area, but it's going for $750 and if I'm spending that kind of money I'd rather go find a nice Fender Jag or Jazz.
I think I might send the guy an email

This track turned into noise in a hurry and it's a nine string, not a twelve, and the extra strings are tuned to fifths instead of octaves...but here ya go.

This was done with the dillion 12 I posted earlier in this thread.
Home recorded with cheap gear.
I played a 12 string dean bass a few times while getting amp service/oggling/trying pedals.
Very nifty.

Thanks team fuzz members for taking the time to post these. This does make me want to buy that Burns. I am in a predicament though..I am saving up to move out of my small apartment into a single family house so that I can buy a Verellen Meatsmoke and kill my idols with sonic death. So, I think that has to take priority right now.

well yeah... get the meatsmoke! Lol I'd kill for one of those. Meatsmoke would just work so well for what I do.

Gotta get the house first. I'll tell you what though, the Meatsmoke purchase will happen before I buy any furniture to fill out the house. That is my vow to you.

Who needs a couch when you can just sit on badass amps?

MrNovember wrote:Random (slightly on topic) question but is there a reason that the octave string is always before the root string?
Probably because the root is thicker so it makes it less likely that you miss the octave.
