i like guns. they're fun, they are a great thing to have in the home if someone (who proooobably ignored the gun control laws to get their firearm because gun control only hampers people that legally and (mostly) responsibly own firearms.... yet another longer discussion) breaks in, target shooting is very zen and relaxing and a challenging skill to do well. i live in one the most rabidly anti-gun yareas of the US, so i dunno how much of a cultural reason we have to own guns out here, and i've heard tons of the arguments against. they're usuuuually not that convincing or well thought out.

Ugh gun debate. But anyways, statistically speaking, the gun in your house is much more likely to be used in either the suicide/homicide/accidental killing of you or one of your loved ones, then it is to be used to fend off an attacker. Make of that what you will. Everything thinks they're a responsible gun owner until the time they leave the safe unlocked, or leave it somewhere, or shoot themselves while cleaning it, or pull it out during a drunken fight and threaten their wife, or their kid steals the key and gets it out to impress a friend and accidentally shoots him, or etc etc etc (all of which happens all the fucking time).

And don't get me wrong, I grew up around guns (rifles and shotguns) because my dad loves to hunt and target shoot, and I did both in my childhood. But now that I have a family and a kid of my own, I wouldn't have a gun in my house if you paid me.

I think you misunderstood what I was claiming. I certainly wasn't claiming that most crime is done with legal guns. What I was saying is that statistically, for each person that has a gun in their home, it's more likely to hurt you or your family either intentionally or accidentally than it is to be used to fend off a robber or raper or some other bad guy.

hey, I at least started out on-topic. Like I said, it seems cool, it's like a stripped down Flint. Could be nice to have, and I get that they're trying to tie it into the Delue Reverb. The funny thing is that I prefer the non-reverb channel of the Deluxe Reverb

I liked the video.

Mr' blacks pedals sound freaking amazing. I still want a downward spiral even though I have no use for it. I'd just sit around and make weird noises with it and be happy.

Maybe he should redo the video and cgi in walkie talkies instead of the guns. that would make it so much better and would totally make sense.
