He's gotten a little better...

Plus everyone listens to Pelican for the drums.

Drums + Vocals, that is. Real focal points.
Just because the focus is on the guitars doesn't mean the drums can't be distracting as fuck.

I don't notice the lack of finesse on the drums as far as their studio stuff goes.

But those old songs live... yeah. suuuuuper distracting.

dude

so heard the album... very black-metalesque at times... I think I like Empros better (seriously it might be a pinnacle of their career), but at first listen, I dig it :) and the new songs are awesome live as i've mentioned around

I really like it.

Can we persuade them to let Chelsea Wolfe to just join as a full member?

But that would mean less of Chelsea's own stuff. Can't have that.

True. I guess some things aren't meant to be.

A) Chelsea Wolf blows. Non-negotiable. It's like Enya for Heavy Music jockriders.

B) Emperos is clearly the fourth best RC record, behind the demo, Enter, Geneva, and Station (in no particular order). Axel just likes it for THE PROG.

C) It's easier than one, two, three.
