Maiden is my all time favourite band, so I'd struggle to only put one riff in there. Might demo the entire Seventh Son album...
hmm...

HAH!

I'm also a bad person for liking the rerecorded versions of Prowler and Sanctuary from the 1988 Can I Play with Madness EP thing (with Bruce of course) better than the Dianno versions.

BRUCE FTW!!!

Dunno - I only really like Slayer up until the Decade of Aggression recording - after that I don't really care a whole lot, and the last 2 times of seen them they were kinda boring. But it's Slayer so... you going?

something sludgy too!

Dude, that sounds sweet!

Sludgy, like early Mastodon? Can't beat Crusher Destroyer.

I FUCKING hate syncing audio and video, might just do good audio and some photos of the settings. At the risk of creating a crap video, but shit, it's about the riffs.

Fuck yeah!!! I love that little vocal "hah!" he slips in between lines in where the slime lives. Gets me every time.
Sorry, CC is a pain in the arse...but if you can pull it off, I'd be all about it.....yeah yeah....TWSS....

Yeah dude, photos is cool. Riffs are the focus!

Ok, just home from the rehearsal room. Got a decent approximation of a brutally CC sound and nailed Pick Axe up until the solo. Got the first half of the solo down, but the upward bit is a bitch. Will practise a bit tomorrow and record the solo and the rhythm track later in the week. Got some crap tab from ultimate tab, but it sounds close enough for rock n roll. Old Cannibal is mostly hard to jam because it's difficult to hear what the hell they are doing except for their massive half time break downs (hello Hammer Smashed Face). New Cannibal on the other hand is hard because Rob got it into his head to shred like a maniac.

Case in point:

Floating text will be done. If nothing else because of the cat.

Will post next week. Wanna record a couple more riffs. This is shitloads of fun btw. Really great being "forced" to play new songs and to find new sounds on the Elements.
