i don't mean to sound condescending here (and now i do after saying this, haha), but i'll attempt to answer your unanswered question! as far as weight goes, mahogany is generally a little heavier than alder. so for example, if you've held a fender mustang, made with an alder body, you might imagine that a guitar of similar proportions, like the reverberation model, would be possibly a pound heavier, but it all depends on the wood itself. a light piece of mahogany might be lighter than a very dense alder body. but generally these guitars are made out of wood, not metal or any weird material, so you can probably look at pictures of them and get an idea of what they weigh.

but yeah, he should probably toss a general weight range in the specs for each model, also more specific neck measurements please! like what depth is the c shape neck?

Thanks, transients, your answer isn't condescending at all, but you're making generalizations. I was looking for specific weights of the different PureSalem models. At least you tried to answer. I know individual guitars are gonna have slightly variable weights, but some manufacturers do list an average weight on their websites. I find that helpful.

You maybe can look at a guitar and tell what it weighs, I cannot. Too many other factors other than just body wood.

I don't know about other people, but weight is something that I take into consideration when looking to purchase a guitar. (I know to some people weight matters not at all.) I'm not even really asking for myself anymore at this point, because after being ignored, I'm unlikely to buy a PureSalem guitar. (Yeah, sometimes I can be petty that way.) And like I said before, if I was really seriously considering buying one of these instruments, I probably would've made a more determined attempt to get a weight on it out of PureSalem. Yep, so, as cool as they seem, I probably won't be getting one. /rant

Good luck getting a response here.

I understand they're probably busy with their launch and stuff, but if you're gonna post on a forum, you should probably expect to get questioned on things you post.

Yeah, I sympathize with him though since I've been in similar situations... when you're launching a company as a one or two-man army, trying to do 50 things at once, it's hard enough to find the spare time to treat paying customers right, let alone all the forum threads he started, facebook messages, etc etc. He at least answered your bigsby question  but yeah, i'd at least give him a more fair chance before saying i won't buy one of their products (and the reverberation is so sexyyy  )
I'm thinking I'll just wait for some of the initial customer reviews and let the company-startup dust settle. i hope they turn out to be a better version of eastwood because i've always dug the weirder designs.

Yeah, I was only half joking about not buying a guitar from them.

I do understand their time/effort constraints and/or priorities, I'm just cranky right now.

Did anyone ever end up ordering one? Just stumbled over their site, and some of their guitars seem really cool.
