My SuperDelay from way back when was the most I've ever spent on a pedal. The Goatkeeper was a close second.

Same, I think.
And the Mobius...
Most expensive gear purchase I've made, though, was a Moog Guitar for $2100 followed by a custom handmade amp at $1500
Wow, you got a Moog guitar, what do you think of it?
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee

Paid a little over $500 for a Verellen Meatsmoke preamp. It's more like an amp to me so while its technically a pedal, I also went out and got a cheaper amp to drive it. With the size and weight and some minor issues factored in, I still think its worth the money. It sounds ridiculously good and its made recording bass much easier.

I publicly offered Devi 500 bucks to resurrect the Improbability Drive, when she was trying to raise money for her transition. That was the very first V2 ID. So all of you fuckers that bought the new Infanem ID can thank me for getting that whole thing started back up again. Just behind that is my Strymon Mobius, which was 450.

Re: What's the most you've ever paid for a pedal?
Let's see. $850 for a Roland GR-55 and the essential sundries when it was new. Still worth every penny and I'm still using it and would do again.
Space Echo (the no-verb 150, which is what I wanted), recently serviced, a bit under $400.
Custom built analog delay w warp switch/octave fuzz/stutter trem, a little less than the Space Echo.
I am not afraid of paying the piper to get what I want.
But the GR-55 taught me an important lesson: stop wasting my money on stuff trying to be a synth. If I want to be a synth, might as well be one - same with pitch shifters and the like. I have enough spitty modulated noisemakers already, I don't need the latest can't track for spit boutique thing.

I've had an el cap and a quasar DLX. I got both for around 300 each. Other than that the most I've probably spent is maybe 220ish. I had a semaphore and have a supa puss that I got for around that. I've had a few others for around 200 but I try to keep most pedal purchases sub 150 if that.

$1300 for a Ludwig Phase II. Came in the original box, with an original brochure. A steal really.

Grabbed a used Pigtronix Mothership for $315. Second would be the line6 m13, which I snagged for $300. I sold the Mothership recently. But the m13 is worth double it's cost for all it does for me.
