Heavy sounds are done with The Elements. And a cameo from the ILF DD!

Awesome demo, Thomas, thanks for sharing! I LOVE that honking high gain midrangey tone you use the Elements for, it's so cool! I think you made the ILFDD sound really awesome too.. killer demo there, sir, highly enjoyable!

Thank you for the kind words! I just set the ILF dd with all knobs at noon and voila, instant solo delay! The guitar just pushes mids out of the speakers, it's incredible. It really screams 80s metal and hard rock

I like when a pedal can have its knobs at noon and sound just right.. that can't work for all pedals.. but it does with the ILFDD and Cosmi...

Sweet guitar for sure.. Shecters rule. My buddy has one that he brings over and it's awesome too, semi-hollow with tapped humbuckers, super versatile.

I moved and had to rework my guitar corner. This is what I came up with. This sound is the Dr. Scientist The Elements going into the clean channel of my Vintage Amp Stagemaster MK II (solidstate rackamp), out of the line out, into Guitar Rig 5 with only the Cabinet simulation on. Cabinet is the AC Box. A little bit of plate reverb is in the mix and at the end I am trying a Brian May delay thingy.

The cool thing is, I can change my sound completely with just swapping the cabinet simulation to another model. The Elements can always stay at the same settings.

Wow, that sounds awesome! I think that's a killer tone right there.. love it with the delay too. That cab sim does a really awesome job hey.. makes that direct signal sound completely of the real world, very cool.

Yeah, I was quite surprised, too. I just wanted an easy solution until I would get something more "professional", but I really like the sounds I can get with this simple setup!

I have just recorded the instrumental part of a new song. Since ILFDD has a leading role in this tune and that i use my Elements for my clean tone, i thought you might be interested in lending an ear to it.

here's a demo i made the day I got my cosmichorus, i think. could have been the day before? there's also a tremolessence getting its modulation on, with the aid of the lfo out from a lightfoot labs goatkeeper on the rate cv in.
