I am seriously contemplating getting the new velcrobot, I have a custom absynth that I still rock hard. Same for SS/BS everything Brian makes is incredible and extremely versatile, I have owned lots of Dwarfcraft and can say that they make some really crazy stuff, really great for noise and full out amp blasting lol I used to love all of Devi's stuff, I sold my E13 Improbability Drive a month ago but I am done with her, she fucked me over to many times and is a really bad person to deal with.
I say grab some SS/BS, Fuzzhugger or Dwarfcraft, they are all very exciting and interesting and can yield so many different sounds.

Oh and if you really want endless possibilities and extreme mayhem than get a Geiger Counter!
How'd Devi fuck you over?
Sent her money on a couple of occasions for some pedals, didn't hear from her for 6 months, she forgot about it. Sent her an original production model E13 ID, the one she first demoed awhile back and didn't receive any e-mail for a year, and I didn't get a pedal that we made a deal on in exchange for me sending the ID to her. I had to remind her on this forum when she posted to send it back, she never said anything about the deal we made, heard lots of shitty stories about her fucking up customers and there are a few on here who know what it's like.

In what world did Tesla not play guitar!?

but seriously, it's a little hard to nail down since he used a lot of guitar sounds, the sorta diodey sound that I first think of when I think NIN guitars always reminded me of simple stuff. Boss DS-1 maybe? Helps to have the right amp, something a little metally.

Did you get the your money back or said pedals? But she did send it back, right?

Ya I got my money back after awhile and sending tons of emails, and she sent my ID back right away, but man she has screwed a lot of people over including dealers. and she keeps screwing them with this stupid console bullshit. I am just not interested in her pedals or her anymore, but many people are, I'm happy I woke up

I'm happy that you Sent the ID to her so Ken could trace it and offer his reissues! At least some output....

sorry to break into the conversation

but i got the first new fuzz

a Foxx Tone Machine clone with socketed trannies (currently Si) and a MOMENTARY octave footswitch
right now i only have a tiny low wattage amp (a small valve Vox), i'll check it out at rehearsal volumes at a bigger amp in two weeks... but so far it seems great

it might become my instant go-to fuzz for solos, because it's pretty fat but I feel like it might cut well

the octave is a totally new experience for me, aside from a Green Ringer i haven't had an octave thing until now, so i'll be getting used to it for a moment... but it gets trashy like nobody's business when i step on that momentary footswitch

... i'm very interested in the Fuzzrite clone as well, should be with me hopefully next week... but so far so good!! AND it goes well with my bare metal Fuck OD

AAAAAAAAAND IT ALREADY INSPIRED SOME STUFF

Ah, the last part is the best part!

You know it's good if a pedal inspires you to play something new.

Looks nice too.

Ya I am happy about that, Ken is really amazing, I believe he will do the ID justice and make it how it should have truly been in terms of build and sound

Oh ya and I forgot, I got a workhorse on here awhile ago, it didn't work and I e-mailed devi about it, I told her I would be willing to pay her good money to fix it this is the response I got: Should be an easy fix, unfortunately we don't have the man power to spare to help out right now. At the time she hired two more builders to work for her.

Just tried the Fuzzrite and the Tone Machine at rehearsal volume with my amp
the fuzzrite is nice, but really not my kind of fuzz...
the Tone Machine tho... HO LEE SHIET, that must be the fattest fuzz i've played right next to a green russian muff clone

we'll see how it cuts through the band, but it's pretty awesome and the octave is absolutely gnarly!!
so far i feel the search is over

we'll see what happens in the future... thanks for the awesome recommendations, if i need, i can always go through them
