Will do. It just got delayed another week or two because of a parts delay.

reviving this from the dead.
I have a context and need to put it through the paces to see if it stays or I just get a dimension.
anyone else in here have any thoughts?
bongoben, what do you think vs the RRR? I've had that one too and had to sell it.

Anyone tried it with guitar?
I've got one, I use it for bass and synth and it's fantastic, don't think it'll ever leave my board.
It's really dark and washy. It's really only good for room, hall and a big ass digital cathedral type verbs. It has infinite decay which is just awesome. And separate volumes for the reverb and clean signals is fuckin awesome.
As for it on guitar I have no experience.

I found the Context to be pretty similar to the RRR but the Context had more controls and a few more algorithms. They are both quality but I found them to be a little bright on my setup

Nimbus is awesome on guitar. It's definitely a roomy sound though. And it goes infinite! RRR is the best plate and hall reverb I've heard. There is little overlap between the RRR and the Nimbus, you could def do both.

These have been addressed but...
Behringer reverb machine: sounds good, but set the mix anywhere above 40% and there's a volume drop, which increases as the mix is set more wet.

lame
Muza m-ambience Reverb: also great sounds, including a great modulated and reverse AND A LOOPER! However, even in bypass mode, it sucks low end. WTF. Is it that hard to make good bypass these days?
I've used tons of reverbs, and these are the best sounding IMO (ignoring options, etc.):
1. Spring Theory
2. Reverberator
3. Hall of Fame
4. Verbzilla/m5/9/13
5. EHX HGs/Cathedral

If you feel that way you might like the Spring Theory, which killed my reverb gas and knocked off the Context and the RRR. I still want to try a Supermoon but I doubt it would make me want to get rid of Spring Theory.

hmmm... have you ever tried the Ghost Echo? Think I'm trading the Context for the Dispatch Master as I love plate reverb. But have to check the Spring Theory.
thanks dude

thanks! blame tuffteff for it
I have not tried the Ghost Echo, I have in general been disappointed with EQD stuff I have tried in the past for some reason
The Dispatch Master seems awesome, I want to try one someday

I've felt the same thing but only had a few of them, but finding myself coming back to them for reason for specialty purposes. what they do, they do quite well. not as versatile as EHX for me though. better build quality.
I need to get better at soldering.
...
and that's a Jesu or Converge album cover? I forget?
