Who, me, I'm only holding some carrots, it's your own nose that does the teasing on you... (believe me, I know the feeling).
Whaha, you mean that new freaked out echoflange thing?
Could be cool indeed, it seems to share some ground with the LAL Misty Cave and Montreal Assembly Goodbye 24 to name a few, quite some interesting new things getting out there lately.

More on topic (about guitar synth stuff), that new WMD thingy seems interesting indeed but there's not much to find about it on the webs.
I got a Shotgunn modded Micro Synth with all the works coming in in a while, crazy expensive, but I just couldn't resist as I like the original MIcro Synth and the options it has, the Shotgunn mods are supposed to put it way way over the top, can't wait!

M9 is pretty cool for synth stuff. More formidable than the Pitchfactor in some ways...

Depends on how the PF is being used. The Synth mode on PF is weak but rumning synth sounds into the PF rules.

man, ok. i just got a behringer bass synth and i gotta say - what a piece of shit. no bypass mode? what the fucking fuck? and it wont track my guitar beyond the 8th fret high E string (C)
sorry to bump old thread but i need to start trying out some other stuff
i think i can skip the pigtronix mothership based on the reviews here -
this is the board, and the space i need to fill.
guitar---->>
compressor/boost----->
__________ (synth/waveform/carrier signal/whatever goes here) ------>
moog freqbox------->
gainy fuzzy whatever pedal (havent decided which yet)------->
snazzy fx tracer city (analog filter)------->
amp.

try:
guitar-->comp-->Moog Freqbox-->EHX Micro Synth-->SoundBlox Multiwave Distortion-->Snazzy Tracer-->amp
The Freqbox will interact with the filters in the Micro Synth and you can double up the single osc. with the up and down on the Micro. The Soundblox, while not my fav gain pedal, sounds ridiculously other worldly when set to the Multiband distortion.
I use it after my Hog2 for walls upon walls of distorted pitch madness!

pros/cons with vintage microsynth vs. reissue? seems like one of those pedals that there might not be a big diff between vbintage and reissue but i dont know personally

I've only had experience with the big box micro synth, but I can't imagine it'd be too much different.
That being said, I just ordered a Möbius. I'm super excited to see how the filters "synth up" my Freqbox/HOG2 combo
And to kep this thread on track...I want me a Biscuit!

Well, I make soundscapes and drones. I use eBowed guitar, noise, and synths to craft my sound.
All my pedals are up where I can reach them.
I don't so much as play the guitar as I play my effects.
I think I could benefit with the OTO, but again, I'm not really "playing" the guitar.
Haha.

In the BSY's defense it IS a bass synth. It tracks fine all over the place on my bass. And yeah not true bypass.
