Hi everyone, Rick Sell from PureSalem. I would like to thank everyone for all the kind words and for your patience while we work closer to our goal of an end of July opening. PureSalem was built around the DIY indie / punk mindset. That scene has played a major role in my life and the formation of PureSalem is just the next logical step in my journey. I hope that you find a guitar in our line- up that grabs your attention. Our goal was to offer guitars that play, sound, and look fantastic all at a price point mere mortal working men and women can afford. We are small company and we will have our share of growing pains but stick with us. Our hearts are in the right place and we plan on sticking around a while. Also know that PureSalem is owned by a frustrated lefty player so all our models will be available in left handed versions and at no additional bullshit mark up. Here is an interesting fact - it cost us less then $10.00 to manufacturer a left handed guitar as opposed to a right handed guitar. So if your a lefty, keep this in mind when some of those other companies want to charge you an extra $100.00 dollars due to the " difficulty" of making a left handed guitar. Isn't it harder to make a left-handed guitar because you need a left-handed instrumentalist to perform the set-up? It's awesome that you're catering to them as well. It shows you folks give a shit.

These are awesome guitars and I can't wait to see them in people's hands. I'd rather wait until reviews set in, though, as I'm in Ireland and have to be as sure that it's something I would invest in.

I'm pretty sure one of the founders is a lefty.

...besides, any luthier or tech worth a damn should be able to intonate regardless of orientation.

Thanks for all the kind words of support ... There is no difference in setting up a guitar and we have a great in house tech. All our guitars will be set up prior to shipping. We set the guitars up when the purchase is made. This may delay the time from purchase to delivery but its worth the extra day or two. We want you to be very happy with your guitar out of the box ...
