Anyone have a demo?

I've never been a fan of phaser. I think it's more dated sounding than chorus or even flange. It screams the 90's to me for some reason. Just not my cup o' tea. On the other hand, I love the slow pulses from the whetstone I've heard from demos.

i'm with you homie. i fucking hate phasers. it can be kinda cute on guitar sometimes, but on bass and most times on guitar it's a horrible hair band metal solo bullshit thing. ew.

BUT. the Faye Sing. is a fucking BEAST. only phaser i ever heard that i liked. and like i said i use it more like an oddly voiced filter. 'specially with fuzz banging into it.

that's my hope with the Gila. it's the only other phaser i've heard in a demo or what not and did the Meerkat Full Spine Extension Posture Of OOOOO GIMME.

sooooooooooooooooooon. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON.

if it's neat sounding i was going to try to do a vidja for it. i should get mine either tomorrow (hooooooooope) or Monday (also good).

The demo does sound good! I also though the way too brief demo of his flanger on bass sounded incredible. I've got a Mooer Eleclady en route to me, so I'll give that a good run, but I'll keep my eye on Mr. Black's. Anyone tried the flanger out in person, even better if you tried it with a bass?

I have a Tunnelworm and it slays. Haven't tried it on anything but C-tuned guitars. I'll give it a whirl on bass.

phase sounds 70's to me = cool as ice cream. To me, Chorus mainly sounds like the 80's jank.

That would be cool to hear your thoughts (and/or clips). The few seconds of it on the website sounds good.

Once upon a time, like around 1989, I liked using chorus a lot. Over time, I moved more towards flangers instead. I think phasers have cool potential to them, but maybe its the fact that the guitarists in my band are big phaser guys, like as in on all the time. I think if three stringed instruments had phaser on them all at once, we'd all turn into Vulcans or something like that.
