What, Nick? He's not listed on the current album credits that I saw...
There were a bunch of articles confirming that they brought him in and recorded stuff with him. They even quoted Josh and Scumbag talking about it.

FWIW, The newest Mondo Generator record (which is meh, for the record) was recorded at Homme's studio. I think those dudes have buried the hatchet.
Also, because I've got an edit button and a pair of pennies, Music/Art/Things exists separate from the people who make it--"And thank God for that," everyone said as the sports stadium launched into Rock and Roll pt. 2.
Rock and Roll!
Hey!
Rock and Roll!

Sorry, I can't. This is a hundred times worse than the Danelectro thing. He has serially beaten women. He is pure scum, and I can't support him or anything he does, and I won't even support other people that tolerate him (like Mr. Homme).

Took me a long time to get into that one. Definitely the weaker album of their back catalogue. As for the new shit I'm not sure, but it always takes me a while to come round to their stuff. Not mention that I haven't heard the album yet.

Lullabies crushes Era Vulgaris, even though only one or two of the tracks from either of them really touch anything from THE HOLY MIXTAPE TRINITY OF SONGS THAT JOSH HOMME REALLY LIKES (AND WE ALL REALLY LIKE THEM TOO).
That said, the half of I Appear Missing is rad, in that Lullabies/NOT PERFECT/GONNA BE A GROWER fashion. Getting more excited for this than I have any right to.

You and I park our cars in the very same garage, and I don't just mean b/c we're both from the northeast...

I prefer weird Queens to heavy Queens any day of the week. Mikey Shoes was the greatest thing to happen to this band.

I have to say I love how Mikey sounds on this album so far... the bass tonez are quite tasty

also I LOVE that they're getting into 12 string electrics now

cool new direction...
and yeah, weird Queens are good, I'd say that Era Vulgaris was pretty weird as well and I absolutely love most of the album
quite stoked to hear the rest AND absolutely looking forward to seeing them this summer
