Soo... you guys are saying these sort of sound like V4s?
Maybe I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a good deal on one.

I got mine to sound very very close to my V4. Almost identical. Which is why I ended up selling it. It just takes some doodling on the knobs and the right tubes. If I had the chance, I'd pick one up over a V4. To me a V4 can only do one thing (granted, it's a good thing) where the MIG100 can do that same thing plus more.

The Mig60 is the JCM800 clone.

I'd heard that the 50 and the 60 were the Bassmen. :idk:

Also, full disclosure, mine is tentatively for sale.

Ok. Did some searching, the 50 and the 100 are Bassman-like, but the 50H and the 100H are JCMish in the hi input, but the lo input is more Bassmany

The 60 is the closest to a Marshal in that it uses EL34s, but the circuit has subtle differences.

I haven't played any of these to know for sure, but I have the Mig100B, and I can say, without a doubt, that is the ballsiest amp I've ever plugged into! Such an authoritative clean tone that just takes any pedal and makes it sound three times as thick!

As for your Mig, had I not just put some money down on a late 60s Ampeg B25, I'd have sent you a PM.

Interesting. If one pops up at a good price I'll try and snag it.
Thanks.

'Sall good man. I'm not "really" trying to sell it, just a little short of the cash for a minute.

I will say the 100H doesn't have quite enough low end for me (on bass), but it is, far and away, my favorite pedals amp ever. Smokes my OR in that department.
