I love my Ritual as well. The Pharaoh is a beast, but I would go for a LSTR if I specifically wanted muff tones.

Yeah dude, just yankin your crank.
My favourite thing to do with the low gain options is to put it on clean and use the FAC and EQ to shape other dirt before it and generally make it sound huge and blasting the volume.
ROUGH UP THAT TUBE AMP.

I love the hell out of my LSTR. The scoop knob makes it super flexible, and helps it stack well with amp gain, od's, and other fuzz pedals.

Yep, had a Pharoah, a Made-by-Mike green muff w/mids, tried a Hoof and a few others, but the LSTR is the "clearest" sounding muff I've ever tried. You can dial out the muddiness like no other. Which makes it killer on bass too.

Roll back your volume knob, brah.

I have both a Black Forrest and a Pharaoh Supreme. The BF is last in my chain and I tend to keep everything set to noon, and keep it nearly always on as a "make-everything-sound-better" type thing. Its also fantastic as a clean boost, or crank the gain for a classic Zeppelin type OD. when stacked with the PS, it's just ridiculous, in the best possible way. Another fun thing is to set the gain 3/4 way up, or all the way, with the eq to taste, and roll back the volume on the guitar, and it cleans up fantastically, then dime the guitar for leads.

Everyone talks about how stackable the Pharaoh is, and how the LSTR is the muff to end all muffs, but really i think the Black Forrest might be my favorite, because it's so versital and so adaptable to whatever sound you're going for...Stack with Pharaoh=Doom City. Dime the gain=Zepp territory. Roll back the guitar and you can get anywhere from ZZtop to RHCP.

It excels as this.
Rev Superbass is also good for this on lower gain settings. I miss that thing.
This Witch Burner is sounding pretty good. I reckon stacking it with a BF would bring the Large Titted Gnarwhal out of hiding and out to play.
Hmm, dual pedal....Black Witch.....Forest of Burning Hagravens.....
