Maybe I'll make a video with it.

Yes, I have played one with bass. It is, of course, dependent on the style of pickup and rig, but this is what I experienced.sam adams wrote:Maybe I'll make a video with it.![]()

The Bluebird's circuit actually blends in a touch of of the "dry" signal so that there's a hint of attack maintained alongside the wooliness. With the stronger power of bass frequencies, more of this attack comes through with a bass, creating the sound of an old tube bass amp cranked up to the point of speaker tearing insanity. It still sounds like your bass but with all sorts of stuff heaped on top of it.

I will be heading to my practice space tonight. Can't wait!

Sorry for the poor playing. This is my first stab at playing and exploring the sound of the pedal so I was totally winging it. I was trying to demonstrate the tone of the pedal in a more "extreme" setting such as a cranked and slightly overdriven tube halfstack with a detuned humbucking guitar. There are several much nicer and versatile demo's of the pedal in normal settings. But nobody has dived right into glitchy ear fatiguing drones and whatnot, so I might as well take it there.
American Standard Tele w/ Duncan P-Rail Bridge pickup(HB setting) tuned D standard and then drop C with EB Not Even Slinky strings(12-52)
Henretta Engineering Bluebird Fuzz. Internal Trimpot maxed out and dip switch to ON.
Orange Rockerverb 100 MKI w/ KT88's (Drive channel, volume cranked to 10, EQ all at 5, gain at 3) I tried to voice it bland and mild in the EQ and low in the gain range to mimmick the kind of sound you'd get out of the average non master volume amp like a Plexi, OR, Model T, etc... Cranked to 10 of course.
Emperor 4x12 w/ Vintage 30's
Recorded with my Zoom Q3HD camera set to normal quality. The microphone are quite nice, so any cool out of control torn speaker sounding insanity is actually coming from the rig and not just some shitty mics that can't handle it.

Re: Smallest fuzz pedals?
Nice! It's refreshing to hear the pedal being used in that way - quite different from the other vids out there or any of the clips I made for the website. Thank you!

Re: Smallest fuzz pedals?
Thanks guys. So far I am not let down by this little monster. I played it through my Lonestar with great results. It loves being stacked into my OCD and SHO clones as well. Haven't tried it with the Mark III yet, but I'm sure it'll sound awesome. I also want to give it a whirl through my bassist's rig.

Please, make a clip of that if you would. I'd like to hear that.sam adams wrote: I also want to give it a whirl through my bassist's rig.
