I'd be down with a simple looper. Kinda shitty how the ad has a web address to get more info and their website throws a 404 error, lame.

I'd just as soon have more buttons/features and "non-musical tech junk" just so I don't have to morse-code stomp the shit out of it just to turn it off. Bottom line: PASS

there's a time and place for complicated, but when i'm playing live with bass and drums, which is most of the time now, i'm finding more and more that simple is good. when i'm on a roll, i'd rather have one of these, a freeze, and a simple hold on a delay pedal than have to muddle through banks on a mega box.

Word. Does anyone else make anything like the Freeze? Just a hold-note-in-a-pedal with maybe a level knob?

Agreed, so tired of gear being stupified by some beancounter somewhere who has decided that nobody can operate two switches or spend 3m reading a manual.

I mean you can always just not buy the pedal, what's the big deal :idk:

I also have been wanting a small simple looper that I can use with my RC-20LX, (looping loops is super fun!). I like the hold feature I had on my DD-7 but I don't have it anymore. Would this be something similar or should I look somewhere else / just buy a new boss pedal

Right now for my noise/industrial project I use a couple of Digitech digital delay pedals set to the 4 second loop function. The footswitch is kind of bogus and I imagine the sound quality is gonna be better on the TC pedal.

You know, I think this pedal might be pretty cool for someone who already has a more complicated looper but constantly struggles with wanting loops pre or post effects... I can keep my boomerang at the end of the chain and have this little guy at the front of the chain so when i have all my boomerang loops going i can sit down, make a loop on this, and play the pedals rather than the guitar for awhile. and fade out my boomerang loops (since the fade turns off all the loops) and still have the loop on the ditto going. hm. let's hope the price is right.

and yeah, i wouldn't mind if it had like, a few more buttons or knobs. or joysticks...

They have loop pedals (physical loop not phrase sampler) that allow you to change the position of a pedal. To if you had the rang post effects, you could switch it pre effects with this button.

Check Whoismarykelly's spam. That skreddy pedal does that. But I'm pretty sure the boss LS-2 does it and I'm sure some other guys could make them. I miss my rang, and particle, and context. :(((( and I would've been satisfied with that loop order switch.

If this is easy to use (no stupid multitapping the single switch or holding it down while looping) I might be down, use it for drones and ambience or a simple rhythm or something. Can't say I'm that fussed by the marketing, there's clearly a time and place for simple and complicated pedals. I used to love complicated stuff but recently I've found I'd rather just turn something on and play, so this appeals to me but I totally get why it wouldn't be for everyone.

I love people getting offended by a one-button looper. I mean how dare someone spend money to release a product you aren't obligated to buy? Do you guys get upset by like, new Ferraris too?
