Classic 400 is supposed to be the heaviest head of all time.

Like literal weight. Not Doomz.

Not an amp, but I'm currently scoping out a Vietnamese Peavey Grind... Very nice neck and pups from what I played, it has a cut out for allowing more pop leverage which is interesting to say the least. Neck-through as well.

i think my friend just got one of those. i was drunk but it did seem peculiar that it had less tubes than i expected, and phaser obviously. i gotta try it. unrelated, but the chorus circuit built into my peaves classic chorus is amazing

Had one of those once upon a time also. Definitely a great sounding chorus on that one, as well as the reverb :thumb:

Used PVs are my recommendation to every young player (or parent) that asks.
Cheap, they sound good and will run forever.

I can't comment on the amps, but I like some of the old guitars/basses.

I've got a 1983 Peavey T-40 and I fucking love it.

Well my drummer finally picked up a tnt 130 dinosaur from 83. It smells like cigarettes and oozes punk rock. Finally we have a functional bass rig! BAAAAASSSS!
