many of the old Gretsch amps were made by Supro, and are often available for bargain prices compared to self-branded Supros. the 2000s-era Gretsch amps were built by Victoria, and can be quite impressive if as painfully overpriced as other Victorias. i really want to try out some vintage Gretsch amps...one of my favorite amp models on my Pod is a Supro-manufactured Gretsch.

Man I love Gretsch now.
They feel so nice, and they sound great.
I feel like a total bad ass playing them too.
Really classy instruments.

At one point back in 2004 my buddy had 5 Gretsch and we did a shootout. I have to search the pic later today and show you guys.
I love the gretsch'es for their sound and optics. But i can't live with the haptics: the fretboard is too narrow and the scale is too short. I would love to try a black or white falcon with dynasonics and the long scale but never ran across one - and i won't order one just to find out that i can't live with it...

@univalve - The neck and fingerboard on my Corvette is nice and thick and wide. You might like.
