That looks nice, but it looks expensive and it also doesn't look like it's currently available.

I feel like maybe combining just splitting the signal to a really sharp cutoff lowpass and highpass might be better than messing with just one crossover frequency? Could manage the overlap between signals better that way.

Haha k. He just seems to get a lot of shit on the Internet (not here, mostly tgp dudes demanding mascis fuzzes) and I always feel like sticking up for him cuz he rules. Also, sadly, that's not that expensive by Australian standards...

i don't know if that would necessarily be "better" but it would certainly be a lot more flexible! i'm liking this idea.

Yeah, get some overlap. Or put a giant hole in the sound somewhere? Don't know how that'd end up sounding. Also all the upper harmonics from the low part of the signal would get caught in the filter and sent off with the highs? Sounds strange. Or awesome. I don't know.
