On the new album, some of you might be wondering what the street clanging recording was, at the end of the first song.
Earlier this year, what followed the student protests for the hike here in Quebec was in my opinion a much important protest aimed against a law limiting our right to assemble and protest. So way more people took to the streets with some kitchenware and made a racket. Here's some footage I took:

I said that it was probably done as more of a performance enhancement for Godspeed. When you have to listen to that shit for 1/2 hour solid. Anything will sound good after the fact. Not that gybe would need any enhancement. So tight.
or they could have just played a slowed down recording of tibet monks chanting for an hour (I swear they did this in 2003 every night between the opening bands and their set) you don't need an opening band to set the pace (drop the expectations)
Hahah I like how they're all dancing so strangely.
Saw them last night, was a solid show. Their violinist had a family emergency and wasn't there, which probably took a decent amout away from the performance, but I was still impressed. I feel like a nerd because I could pin-point the exact moment the drone commander came in during of of their drones
