3 inches
the 4 ring holes
and the teisco holes match up exact
im gonna try it out full power tomorrow night
before i cut the other one out the teisco
there will be 1/2" between them when the other one goes in
the only prob is the clearance is pretty tight
the teiscos dont have the white ground wire
so i stuck it in the screw hole and tightened it down
i was gonna ask first but just went with it cause it worked
solder wouldtn stick
how should i wire the other one in
match colors or reverse
gotta trim the pickgaurd tomorrow as well
im fuckin psyched
thanks so much duders

I love how twisted that is. Bet it sounds rad.

I don't know guys. I like single coils a lot, but humbuckers are nice sometimes.
My mine guitar is a tele with a single coil in the bridge, and a humbucker in neck. That's my favourite combination ever.
The higher output and big warmth of the humbucker, with the clarity of the tele bridge is the best thing ever. Seriously.
I also love having higher output pickups in the neck. I like getting a boost when I switch to the neck. I've been been crazy about this though, so whatever. :idk:

But yeah, if I had to pick one, I'd probably go with single coils. They just seem to be able to do so much more.
Different strokes for different folks though. I used to like humbuckers more, and maybe some day I will again.

Mhmm.
I like it like that. Other way around doesn't make sense to me at all.

And man, have you thought about fitting another one in there since you all that space?
That might be sort of cool.

Humbucker in the Bridge and a single in the neck is perfect! Stops the neck from being all muddy but still has grunt from the bridge for overdrive.

After my jet king I never went back to full humbuckers. The strat I had was hss so that was manageable but as you said, "blanket". Humbuckers are too numb for my taste however a buddy's sg has really bright and awesome humbuckers that sound like p90s. So I guess not all are bad.

I was in the same boar as you skully, i hated single coils and fenders. I rode the wave of humbuckers getting hotter and hotter, and it got the point where humbuckers were so hot it was like running a tubescreamer in front of your amp at all times. Now I play pretty much nothing except fenders (and one epiphone) with either low gain humbuckers (they work so much better with high gain pedals) or p-90 single coils. I neve thought i would prefer single coils for balls to the wall doom fuzz but my epi V with mean90's is truly insane, its got the low end, the clarity and the sustain. No wonder Soma and Greg Anderson both have p90 equipped les pauls. I am really interested in those GFS HB-sized WRHB's though, I think they would be awesome in my baritone Jag.

yeah thats the plan
im wanna make sure its kosher, through the stack at the space tonight
before i pull the other pup out the teisco
im a rookie soldereer just want to be sure, while the hole is semi open
tried it out through the vox p-finder at lowlow volume, cause it was like 2am(sounds good)
also waitin on direction how to wire the second one in
whats the minimum amount of clearance,strings-pickup
its gonna be close, maybe a little grindage is in order
(should i move this conversation to diy?)

Yeah dude. I just.... Can't do buckers anymore. I might consider it later on down the road, but I'm with you. I've got a left over full size WRHB I'm deciding what to do with........

Put it in the bridge of something? I like HB's in the bridge position.

Yeah, just trying to figure out which guitar to throw it in. It takes a considerable amount of routing for something like my Telemaster or Jaguar :(
